American Airlines announces new flight and added seats for Saint Lucia in 2024.

American Airlines is reaffirming its commitment to Saint Lucia by increasing its operations at Hewanorra International Airport (UVF) during the summer of 2024. This initiative entails augmenting seat availability and providing up to two flights per day connecting Miami International Airport (MIA) and UVF. The objective is to deliver a steady and reliable service throughout the entire year.

American Airlines plans to introduce a second daily flight from MIA to UVF, operating between June 5 and September 3, 2024. This additional flight signifies the ongoing collaboration between the airline and Saint Lucia / UVF, while also offering improved scheduling choices. Moreover, the aircraft utilized for the MIA-UVF route will be upgraded from a Boeing 737 (172 seats) to an Airbus A321 (190 seats).

From mid-February to mid-March 2024, the Philadelphia (PHL) to UVF route will experience an improvement. During this time, the aircraft used for this route will be upgraded from an A-319, which has 128 seats, to an A-321 that can accommodate 190 passengers.

American Airlines facilitates travel to the breathtaking and welcoming destination of Saint Lucia through augmenting capacity, introducing extra daily flights, and providing premium cabins on its Charlotte (CLT) and Philadelphia (PHL) to UVF routes.
