The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism, Investments, and Aviation ( BMOTIA ) joins business partners to celebrate Makers Air’s introduction of twice-weekly nonstop flights to Long Island. Every Thursday and Sunday, service will start using Cessna Grand Caravans ( 9-seater ) between Stella Maris and Fort Lauderdale Executive Airports ( FXE ) starting on December 14, 2023.
The flights will leave SML at 3:30 PM for FXE and depart from FXE at 1:00 PM. Visitors can also take advantage of easy same-day relationships because the switch is only 13 km from the Fort Lauderdale- Hollywood International Airport ( FLL).
The journey was praised by Deputy Director General Dr. Kenneth Romer as evidence of The Bahamas ‘ close ties to business leaders and a representation of the country’s dedication to opening doors for regional business owners and stakeholders.
